Who do I work with in my private Practice? I’m so glad you asked …
Oh my goodness, I get asked this question a lot. And I love answering it every time. You see, I really love the work I do and who I get to do it with. If you’ve got a sec, I’d love to tell you about it.
So first of all, it’s an incredible privilege to support women who are navigating one of the most transformational periods of their lives: perimenopause and midlife. Specifically, I work with creative, spiritual professional women in California and Louisiana—two vibrant states that shape my work with their unique cultures and energy.
These women come to me at a time when they’ve spent decades doing everything “right” according to societal expectations. They’ve built careers, maybe raised families, and lived by the rules. But now, as they approach midlife, in addition to a significant physical recalibration, they’re feeling a sense of inner questioning, a shift in their identity, and a deeper need for personal alignment. This is where I step in to collaborate and support them through this profound transition.
Creative, Spiritual, Professional Women: A Unique Journey
Whether it’s through my web site, Instagram or word of mouth, I am regularly astonished how the right client’s find me. By this, I mean, we are a good match clinically (who I am as a therapist and how I work), and logistically (clients who love the flexibility of online therapy and are ready to invest their resources into living their most elevated lives).
The women I work with are a diverse bunch culturally and in their unique lived experiences, but they tend to see the world through a creative, spiritual lens. Sometimes this means they have developed arts or spiritual practices and sometimes it just means they wonder about it. Due to professional licensing, all of my clients live throughout Louisiana and California, and often dwell in vibrant cities like New Orleans, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
My clients have spent years honing their careers, excelling in their fields, and achieving the goals they set for themselves. But even with all their success, they find themselves facing a new set of challenges. As they enter perimenopause and midlife, they begin to question everything they thought they knew about themselves, their bodies, and their purpose.
For these women, midlife is not just about physical changes—it’s an emotional, mental, and spiritual awakening. They’re often at a crossroads, wondering if the path they’ve been on is still the right one. Maybe they’re considering a career shift, reevaluating relationships, or even contemplating a spiritual or personal transformation.
I love working with women who are ready to explore these questions and embrace the unknown. I create a space where they can pause, reflect, and reconnect with their true selves, free from the pressure of society’s expectations. Together, we work on navigating the hormonal and emotional shifts of perimenopause, all while honoring their creative spirit and spiritual
Navigating Perimenopause and Midlife - OnlineTherapy in New Orleans and San Francisco
Perimenopause is nothing short of a deep transformation. If you’re a Gen X or Millennial women you get it.
For many of my clients, it’s a period that feels both disorienting and empowering. The physical symptoms—hot flashes, fatigue, mood swings—can be overwhelming, but it’s the internal shift that truly takes center stage. My clients often find themselves asking, “Who am I now? What do I want this next phase of my life to look like?”
I support my clients through the complexities of perimenopause, helping them understand their bodies and emotions while supporting their creative and spiritual growth. We process the toll the physical challenges have, yes, but we also dive into the deeper emotional and psychological aspects of this time. It's a holistic approach that honors all facets of their being—mind, body, and spirit.
In my practice, I draw from a variety of approaches — narrative therapy, psychospiritual work, psycho education, and creative exercises—all tailored to each woman’s unique journey.
The goal is not just to survive midlife, but to thrive and rediscover purpose, passion, and power.

Women-Centered Therapy in Louisiana and California
One of the things I love about working with women in California and Louisiana is the rich cultural diversity and energy these states offer. Whether it’s the laid-back, soul-nourishing vibe of California or the deep-rooted traditions of Louisiana, the women I work with are deeply connected to the unique landscapes and communities around them. As well, they are deeply impacted by the challenges their community’s face, including economy and natural disaster.
Both states have a unique energy, but the thread that unites all of my clients is their deep desire for meaningful change and transformation. They are ready to break free from old patterns, embrace their full potential, and step into the next chapter of their lives with grace and authenticity.
Why I love this Work
What I love most about working with creative, spiritual professional women is the growth and transformation I witness in each of them. There’s something profoundly beautiful about supporting a woman as she steps more fully in her power, redefines her purpose, and embraces the wisdom that comes with midlife.
I believe that midlife doesn’t have to be a time of crisis; it can be a time of rebirth. And I am honored to guide my clients through this powerful transition, helping them navigate the complexities of perimenopause and midlife while rediscovering the essence of who they are and what they want.
If you’re a creative, spiritual professional woman in California or Louisiana who is ready to embrace this transformative time in your life, I would love to support you. Together, we can navigate the changes ahead, find balance, and create a life that truly aligns with your deepest desires.
As we wrap up here, I want to re-emphasize that if you are feeling overwhelmed or disoriented in your midlife journey so far, you are not alone. We are not meant to navigate this journey on our own. Women need specialized support, guides and teachers in the process.
The midlife chapter is epic - both hard and beautiful. I truly believe through a blend of psychological insight and spiritual practice, women can experience midlife not as a crisis, but as an invitation to deeper wisdom, healing, and purpose. That’s a good thing, because we are needed out there!

Till next time, Wishing you peace & ease,
